Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Trustonica ("Rectifyr," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Rectifyr website and hosted observability platform (collectively, the "Service").
1. Information We Collect
- Account information — name, work email address, company name, and authentication data you provide when you sign up.
- Customer Data — the logs, metrics, traces, and other telemetry you or your systems send to the Service. We do not inspect Customer Data except as necessary to provide, secure, or support the Service, or as you direct (for example, AI-assisted analysis features on paid plans).
- Usage data — information about how you interact with our website and dashboards, such as pages visited and features used.
- Real User Monitoring (RUM) data — if you enable RUM on your own applications, the Service collects front-end performance and session data from your end users; you are responsible for disclosing this to them.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information above to provide, maintain, and improve the Service; authenticate accounts and secure the platform; respond to support requests; send account and billing communications; and comply with legal obligations.
3. Cookies & Website Analytics
We use browser local storage on our website to remember display preferences (for example, light/dark theme); this does not identify you personally.
Our website and signup pages are built to support Real User Monitoring (RUM) analytics — page views, Core Web Vitals, click events, and error tracking — sent to our own infrastructure to help us understand and improve the Service. This capability can, if enabled, also include periodic screenshots and a replay of your session on our site. As of the date above, screenshot and session-replay capture are disabled by default and are not active in our current deployment. If we enable them, we will update this section and put an appropriate consent mechanism (such as a cookie or tracking banner) in place first for visitors in jurisdictions that require it.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal data. We may share information with sub-processors and infrastructure providers who help us operate the Service (for example, cloud hosting and email delivery), under confidentiality obligations; with professional advisors; or where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Rectifyr or others. Any such sharing is limited to what is necessary for the stated purpose.
5. Data Retention
Account information is retained for as long as your account is active. Customer Data is retained according to your plan's data retention window (currently 7 days on Free, 30 days on Pro, and a custom period on Enterprise, as described on our Pricing page), after which it is deleted on a rolling basis.
6. Security
We use TLS-encrypted transport in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact support@rectifyr.io. Pro and Enterprise customers can request a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) to support their own GDPR compliance needs.
8. International Data Transfers
The Service is hosted on infrastructure located in Arizona, United States. If you access or use the Service from outside the United States, your information — including Customer Data — will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, which may have data protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer. If we expand hosting to additional regions or take on customers subject to cross-border transfer requirements (for example, the EU GDPR), we will put appropriate safeguards in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, and update this section accordingly.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice before they take effect.
